Hi there, i could really do with some urgent advice. I am a HC driver in leeds, and the council have suspended my badge on the grounds of public safety. It is alleged that a passenger caught his foot in my rear tyre and all his skin was ripped off and his bown was showing. I have no knowledge of this allegation, also i drive an E7 taxi and it is impposible for this kind of accident to take place unless the passenger has 10ft long legs. I have no criminal record, the council have never received any complaints regarding me, im a very hard worker and take my job very seroiusly, i feel as if im being framed here. could really do with some advice as to what to do.

Hi,

How and when did they suspend your licence? Are you a member of a representative organisation?

Regards

Thanks for your reply, the incident took place on the 8th of july, the police questioned me 3weeks later and my badge was suspended on the 11th september. The enforcemennt officer came to my house to take the badge off me. I have appealed and have a hearing in 4 weeks time.
