Hello dadmgm,

Your CRB will be assessed upon the rehabilatation of offenders act, in other words depending what the offence was, will help the licensing officers decide if in their opinion you are a fit and proper person. There are official guidelines sent out by central government. I would ring the licensing office tell them what the offence was and ask their opinion. Their are some offences that will stop an individual ever being licensed. However, even if you are refused you still have the option to appeal to a Magistarates court if you disagree, although I would advise seeking legal advice. All licensing Authorities have different guidelines some will licence a 2001 mondeo, some will not, again seek advice from the licensing office concerned.

Good Luck
