Hi Rick why dont you get a speaker attached and place behind your head rest it certainly works mate all you have to do is cut off the supply to the door speakers .btw if you fit a nokia micro phone to replace the original one fitted by cab direct they work much better too and he punters have no probs listening to you.
Ohhh btw have you turned the volume up on the box which is fitted behind the drivers seat .take the bottom panel off and you will see a small hole to the left insert a small screwdriver and adjust to maximum so it wont squeal to much feedback
