Taxi driver dies after street row
A 57-year-old man who died following an altercation outside a Liverpool church was a private hire taxi driver.
Douglas Bridson was at work when he was involved in the scuffle outside the Trinity Methodist Church on West Derby Road in the early hours of Saturday.
He was taken to hospital but died of a heart attack a short time later, a post-mortem examination revealed.
A 67-year-old man arrested at the scene has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
