Up to 100 taxi drivers went on strike in Cambridgeshire in a dispute over the cost of permits at a railway station.
The taxi drivers in Peterborough were protesting at their new contract with National Express East Coast, claiming the price had almost doubled.
After negotiations an agreement was reached on a reduced rate.
Taxi drivers' spokesman Saj Majid said: "We've achieved a solution in the middle that's going to work for the drivers and National Express as well."
