Firefighters in Strabane have said they were verbally abused and spat at by late night revellers waiting for taxis outside their station last weekend.
They have said they are considering new security measures as they are having trouble entering it to answer calls.
The station commander said his officers were delayed responding to calls last weekend because the forecourt was blocked with taxis and their customers.
Terry Morrison said the situation cannot be allowed to continue.
"Last Sunday morning, in the early hours - approximately two o'clock - there was quite a number, about 30 or 40 persons, in the station grounds," he said.
"There were also taxi drivers there using the station forecourt as a pick-up point.
"When firefighters responded to a call they were hindered from getting into the station and apart from that we were verbally abused and some were spat on."
