Appeal over fatal taxi collision
Police investigating a crash in which a taxi driver was killed have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Martyn McVeigh, 49, of Fleetwood, Lancashire, died when his Ford Focus taxi collided with a Jaguar saloon car in Anchorsholme on 13 January.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at the junction of North Drive and Luton Road.
A woman, 30, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has since been released on police bail.
Sgt Rob Gomery, of Lancashire Police, is urging anyone who witnessed the collision, at 1010 GMT, to contact police.
