here,s one for you lads i was asked the other day do i carry a first aid kit yes i said all or most drivers do its part off the conditions, this person then said are you first aid trained i said no, they then said i could get sued by the person i supplied the first aid kit to, due to health and safety regs, this started alarm bells ringing, how does the taxi driver stand from a point of law if stoping to give or assist with first aid, since the bulk of drivers i take it are not first aid trained, if we cant give first aid why do we have to carry a first aid kit any thoughts guys

 yes im aware of that, but my point is under the health and safety act, could we be sued for giveing first aid to a person, if we are not first aid trained, and you come across say a inciedent where someone needs  a bandage or help of someother kind, and your good intentions go wrong but you have used your first aid kit to help
