Hi everyone,

I'm considering starting work for a private hire firm in Liverpool but just wanted some advice really.

At the moment I work two jobs totalling 51 hours a week. I work in call centres for both jobs and am sick of working for power hungry idiots who think that being a manager in a call centre is the centre of the universe. Anyway, the reason I need advice is because at the moment, my monthly wage from both jobs is around £1800 on average, sometimes upto a max of £2400 but never below £1600 per month. This is net takehome pay.

Is it possible to earn this sort of money working private hire? I have no problem working 7pm-4am Friday & Sat nights.

Is there anyone that Taxi's in Liverpool? I'd appreciate your opinion although any opinion would be great.

OK i will offer this advice you wont like it but its better than none!
1. you work in a secure job earning a reasonable income, but probably do too many hours, in this employment you are it appears bullied harrassed by little HITLERS, so you consider going into an industry where which is the 4th most dangerous in the country, with appalling exploitation, completely disorganised, and the only thing guaranteed is loooong hrs with very little reward!

The soultion to your problem get a UNION into your call centre, or if there is one play an active roll and make it affective.

Ive no specific knowledge of the trade in Liverpool other than that there are some very nasty elements within it!

To sum up oud be crackers to go into it in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!
