Pros & cons please, your views appreciated.

I have my application form & intend to get it in in the next few days, still can't make my mind up whether to do the full 'All London' straight off or do one area first so I can start working quicker then add to it later??

I would have thought the All London would give better earning potential & I see it as a challenge that I think I want to undertake, but trying to hold down a 'day job' at the same time as doing the knowledge might slow me down somewhat.

When TFL quote an average time of 34 months (All London) & 26 months (Suburban), do you think this includes holding down a job at the same time or is this 'full time' training??

Views please

im aware its the hardest of all in the world.... my opinion that is.

surely its how good you are yourself in keeping and recalling knowledge you've stored away in your brain.
for some its easy.

as an average of 34 months i would imagine thats holding down a job. otherwise how would you survive
on the DHSS handouts?

Well that's the thing, no DHSS handouts for me, gotta proper job (well sort of)

I'm glad that it means 34 months whilst holding down a job, because otherwise I think I'd be old & grey (nearly there already if I'm honest) before I got the knowledge under my belt.

I'm leaning towards All London, I've got a fairly good sense of direction & pretty good memory.

if you was Asian or old eastern block you'd have the DHSS falling over to help you.

i would say its 34 months if working.
