Hello all,

A customer of mine has had a Taxi dumped on the car park, in the grounds of her Appartment in Manchester.

It is a Peugeot Euro7 on an 07 plate, Licienced for Wellingborough.

The Wellingborough plate and tax disc expired 29/02/2008 and it was dumped there in September 2007 over 7 months ago.

The Police are not interested as it has not been reported as stolen. As the grounds are Private, they say it is a civil matter.

Anyone?

If the vehicle has a Licence on it... then all she needs to do is get in torch with the licensing authority.... the owner's name and address should be listened... on public record

Dumped 7 months ago?.....must be a nice area, I know places where it would have been completely striped within a week

Hello and thanks for the replies,

They have contacted the registred keeper and the mail was returned as "addressee gone away".

Nice area, well they live In Salford, but it is a better area of Salford 7 and the Taxi is out of view.

I am going to contact the local council and see what they can do.

Any further suggestions?
