Hi there, i am after the opinions of 50 drivers with reguards to nationalizing the taxi and PHV industry.
i know it is a very strange question, it is part of a university coursework, but i have recived some very interesting replys from various people.
i am of the understanding at the moment that there is 344 different buroughs/councils in the UK all with their own sets of rules and regulations, imagine hypothtically if the government took ownership, meaning all rules and regulations were standardised throughtout the UK, and invested money into improving the industry all taxis and equipment ect... and all drivers were technically working for the government.
