seewe are going to need a license to play music in our cars now.

the radio, cd or tape.  whats next ?

1. Scope of tariff

This tariff applies to performances of copyright music within the Society’s

repertoire* by mechanical/electronic means on, in or from general vehicles

including: ice cream vans, advertising vans, election campaign and other

similar vehicles; taxis, minicabs and chauffeur-driven cars.

This tariff does not apply to music on coaches, buses and minibuses, to

which Tariff ‘MC’ applies.

2. General conditions

This tariff is subject to the Society's General Conditions Applicable to

Tariffs and Licences, available on request from the Society*

3. Royalty rates

Where PRS music is used without a licence having first been obtained,

50% will be added to the Standard Royalty charged and payable for the

first year of the new licence (Higher Royalty)

4. Value Added Tax

Every Licensee under the Society's tariffs will pay to the Society in

addition to the royalty due, a sum in respect of Value Added Tax

calculated at the relevant rate on the royalty payable

5. Inflation adjustment

Every year on 1st June, the monetary sums in this tariff will be adjusted

for inflation
