every copy of the April issue of Taxi-Today will have one of the above leaflets inserted and are to be distributed on / from the 13th of March 08.

in the next couple of weeks 40,000 will have been distributed through the Taxi-today database of taxi offices and owners home addresses, licensing offices and trade associations out in the provinces.

hopefully if all the bickering could be put to one side and a bit of common ground could be found, then if all the organisations out there could come up with a working plan on how to tackle this problem on one front, as one body then maybe just maybe something good could come from all the attacks, murders etc in the past and maybe it could start the organisations working together in the future.

but i already know the answer....... its not going to happen because there's too many out there only looking after their own interests.
and not looking on a national scale but only whats going on in their own back yard.

Thanks Tony

We know there are also decent Agencies, Fleet Operators, Proprietors or bosses, call those who obtain and distribute the work what ever people will, who do have the drivers interest to the fore because they remember what it was like or for whatever reason. These are not the people we refer to in a disparaging manner and the help from the genuine ones out there is appreciated.

Tony thank you for your support on this.i sincerely hope that you are wrong in your perception that individuals will not assist in bringing this campaign to a successfull climax.people are some times self centred but i believe that on this issue most of the trade will unite.Brighton council have as i understand it ,have also agreed to put out several thousand copies of the leaflet and have also said that they will put one in every application form that is issued.Perhaps if you , or your local association wish to put out leaflets in your area you can contact any member of the GMBPDB for further information
