can any one give me any info ,regarding medicals our council have just adopted the group 2 medical for our drivers, now the cost varies at dif medical pratices depending wich medical pratice your with bearing in mind the practices are only miles appart 6 or 7 at the most, with cost starting about 80 going to the highest at 160 pound now obviously this is causing some concern since some members are paying more than others for a medical, the council say we have to have a medical done by our own doctor because they have our records, is this law, i know the obvious answer is to transfer to the cheaper practices but this is not allways possible, what im asking is, are the council right to say we cant use another doctor for a medical, and is there any law that says we have to, replys welcome please |
