this is true as i can do sums, but as the rental of all the bits needed to convert the car into a cab is already supplied to car for that price, would it be reasonable?? obviously 40hrs a week was a guestimate as i no cabbis do hell of a lot more!!

why not buy one from a supplier at a fixed weekly cost.

obviously it depends on where you are and what restrictions your licensing officer as put on vehicles in your area.

can you use a saloon or mpv etc ?

if so, you could get one from various suppliers all fitted out from about £80 per week + vat

obviosly you would radio rent on top of that.

if like you your new to the trade then renting is best option just in case you dont like it.
at least then you can walk away from it without having a huge debt over you on a vehicle you no longer want.
