Hi all.

After reading the poster Bexleys faults on his Tx4 i thought I should join this site and make aware that he is not alone in his fight against the Evil LTi monopoly in London.

I have had My Tx4 six months and have many many faults, it really is the new Austin allegro.

I have not had the gearbox noises as i have seen in the youtube vid but i  have had others dont you worry !

2 new front tyres on 13k, pads on 6k

New rad after leaking from day 1, turbo hoses, oil leaks, vibrations,  a new knocking when turning right (mind you had this on all my txs, they can never fix it) Intercom problem, electric window problems,gearstick stuck in reverse when doing u turn in fleet street WOW that was fun!

19 mpg £400 road tax 13k tyres 6k pads the tX££££4 is finaicial suicide.

I would love nothing more than to see Lti finished, they deserve it .

However did you trade in a TX2 for the TX4 and how much did you get?

Your favorite company (LTI) who seem to control the London Tariff Increases regarding vehicle costs appear to be saying that their dealers will pay top dollar for traded in TX2's then sell back at a huge discount. This lead to an initial reduction on tariff of minus 8.8% for vehicle costs. Nice to see taxi costs are REDUCING?????

Is the new TX4 is the New TX2 regarding resale/reliability so we are set to see Tariff vehicle costs reduce even further next year????
