I've just past my gateshead locality test and have applied for my CRB i was wondering if anyone has applied for one recently and if so how long did you wait.

Also is there anything that effects how long it takes??

Takes about 12 weeks for a CRB check to be finalised !
My CRB's took 14 weeks with one LA and 12 weeks with another.
You can track your CRB status on-line or ring them ( regular....every day...lol )
to be informed of the progress.

I have been informed that CRB tests are currently taking between 6 and 8 weeks depending on your previous.

You going on the Hacks or Private Hire?

Licencing process in London currently taking 20 weeks, ah! i see adriver shortage what a shame!
