what can be done with the idiots that verbally abuse, violently attack and at worse murder someone ?
looking at whats gone on in the trade since around 2002. theres roughly 45 murders unknown cases of physical abuse and then we have verbal abuse. plus damage to vehicles etc.
this isn't solely a taxi industry problem but a general problem across all dermographics of our society.
I suggest National service should be brought in again.
any ideas on how this could / would work and at what ages should it start.
there must be a few on here that either did National service last time round or just missed out. but im sure you may of known some that did enter National service and heard or experienced it first hand.
WOULD IT WORK ?
it would or could be funded from the unemployment benefit.
because half of those that would do the National service i believe are currently on the dole and bleed the system for every penny as it is.

Yes Tony I think it would have been good for me, I know it's not quite the same thing but I was in the scouts and that did me lots good by teaching me skills and going to places that I would not have seen other wise. |

its about life skills in my opinion, you cant buy experience
thats why a lot of top businesses now taking on graduates prefer to take on those graduates that took time out to travel and have life experiences.
