Hi folks, my name's Ally and I work for Cheetah.
We're getting a lot of interest in this new speed trap detector from taxi drivers because of its unique design so I wanted to let you all know a bit more about it.
Our main website is speedcheetah.com and this is the product page for the GPSmirror
There is a handy product video which shows how to use the product on You Tube or on our website product page.
I'll be checking in regularly to the forum so I'll be available to answer any queries on the mirror or any other speed trap product. Look forward to getting to know you all.

never heard a single good comment on the tom tom
it took a hgv up a no right turn and caused an accident and it was proved to the police who at the drivers request used it and it told them to do the same, it was a foreign driver and his insurance company used it in his defence in court.

Hi Ally of speed cheetah
looked at the links you've put on here and im extremely impressed with it.
if its as good as it looks and you obviously are very confident in your product any chance of doing a competition on here to win one or two ?
dont know how it would work but us users on here are your target audience !
why not contact Tony or Pete and see if you can come up with something.
both Tony and Pete own the site. Tony does the taxi today magazine aswell
They both also do something on the taxi insurance thing on here.
they both post on here and moderate the site.
so you could message them on here to contact either of them.

Thing is David how many drivers do you know that use a standalown speed camera device, I don't know any.
Why spend £200 on a speed cam device when for that you can buy a complete navigation system that does the same and more? |

Absolutely - we sell lots of them to taxi drivers.

Your forgetting to ask for the Taxi driver discount !
There are lots of different camera detector products on the market - some cheaper, some much more expensive, some with good databases some with poor ones. I'm glad you found something that works for you.

No worries Hopper.
I understand a lot of taxi drivers are not allowed to have anything like a GPS on the dashboard or stuck to the windscreen. Maybe that just applies to Hackney's because that's where a lot of the mirrors are selling to at the moment.

Ally
