Nothing as yet, despite having been contacted by over 40 drivers only 12 have put some details in writing, most drivers seem lethargic about taking action against LTI.

Mark Fryer,

If you came down out of your Ivory Tower for just 5 minutes I could show you the serious defects on my vehicle,I am 100% sure you would agree with me ,IN FACT I WILL MAKE YOU AN OFFER ,I WILL DRIVE MY VEHICLE TO YOUR OFFICE AT MY EXPENSE,IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ME THAT MY VEHICLE HAS SERIOUS PROBLEMS,I WILL NOT TROUBLE YOU OR LTI AGAIN, AN INTELLIGENT MAN WOULD SEE THIS AS A WAY FORWARD,AND AS A BONUS YOU WOULD ACTUALLY REALISE THAT YOUR CUSTOMER AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER HAS HIS HEAD FIRMLY BURIED IN THE SAND. border=

IF THIS IS TO MUCH TO ASK OF YOU HAVING GIVEN YOU £35000,THE MATTER WILL BE CONCLUDED IN COURT.

THE LINKS BELOW WILL SHOW YOU THAT THIS MATTER IS NOW ATTRACTING NATIONAL INTEREST. Very Happy

BEXLEY. WHILST I SYMPATHISE WITH YOU do you remember that the ltda and other august bodies voted against using other types of taxi vehicles on the basis that the turning circle had to be retained. you could have bought the latest euro taxi for about £22.000 fully kitted out and wheelchair accesible.I also notice that a far more aggressive advertising campain promoting the 4 series is being persued across the land. GOOD LUCK with your claim.

mines a 56 plate and its the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion and have had as much as a bulb go yet.

would recomend it to anyone, ok price new is a bit steep but the resale after 5 years is still very good and a converted plumbers van you wont be able to give away.

i wonder who really is behind all this ? heard somewhere else that bexley got a nice little earner from cab direct to kick all this off. afterall they'd be the biggest benefactor if it was true ask yourselves who's got the most to gain by promiscuous womangibg off the No1 player in the market place

And who suggested that LTI needed an apologist on here?

Seriously though, VOSA could not be that easily manipulated.

If they have asked the question they must think there is something to answer

who says the question as been asked ?

is it not the word of a anonymous poster going round the forums ?

my belief is that there are faults, and its not a conspiracy by cab direct. i heard they were having problems with the abs but nothing else.

give it another 12 months and then the problems will really kick in because by then the 1st ones sold will be 2 years old with a good bit of mileage on them so the chances are that what can go wrong will do.

If Mr Bexley was making it all up , no doubt LTI would be taking robust action to silence him.

Have you read his engineers report ref the brake / accelerator problems?

If i was experiencing those types of troubles I would be livid too.

Maybe we need a "Lemon Law" as in the good old USA.

My name is Peter Foreman (Bexley129) I can assure you every thing is 100% truth that I have said.I have on the way to 50 e mails from other TX4 owners with the same degree of faults.I am not hiding behind any false names ,if LTI believe I have not spoken the FACTS issue legal proceedings against me !  In truth, it is I that have isued the legal proceedings !

Many of these owners have reported to VOSA as well. These issues are real !  Of course I would hope that there are many TX4 out there with none of my problems.

I wonder where you are supposed to have heard that I have some contact with the E7 people, could it be from a friend of yours in LTI.?

I am not going to enter into the pathetic exchange you appear to want to engage in, every thing I have said is  true ,all that is on my web page is factual and can be backed up my original written letters from the respective parties. The LTDA have a copy of  EVERYTHING.

I am in a terrible situation wiyh this vehicle,I hope to make others aware of the TX4 problems before they too take on a debt of £35000.

Believe what you want to ,the truth will always speak loudest, PETER FOREMAN (BEXLEY129)

22 Nov 2007 8:32 PM Alert

Well I turned up for my "meeting" and the LTI representive turned out to be our Trevor Hattersley again.

The only reason this meeting was called by LTI was because VOSA had asked LTI for an explanation of my claim that the TX4 has dangerous brakes and accelerator function.

Our Trev wanted to take my vehicle back to "Plant" again to test and strip down components.

I have totally refused this request the vehicles present condition is court evidence. They have not managed to correct or accept the disgusting condition of my vehicle up to now.

He road tested my vehicle again and said "there is nothing wrong with the brakes or accelerator function".(BRAKE PEDAL NOW ON CARPET ,WORSE THAN PICTURE ON MY WEB SITE !) crapcab@hotmail.co.uk

No explanation or offer of correction of all the other faults was offered,in particular the very bad gearbox crunch. (Much worse than any other TX4 I have tested) Evil or Very Mad

Trevor Hattersley said that "In the event of an accident it could be proven in law that I had not shown due care to my passengers in driving a vehicle that was dangerous" . HOW CAN LTI HAVE SUCH AN ARROGANT ATTITUDE TO THIS SITUATION ? Twisted Evil

KPM not interested in my problems,Trevor Hattersley said "I will have to consult my Barrister, and we have won all the court cases that people did not allow us to take the vehicle apart" Razz

I pointed out that the vehicle had already been "back to plant for 4 weeks and was told that this was history, not relevant " Embarassed

Our meeting was "concluded" ,my solicitor has issued a letter requiring written response to our meeting within 7 days,at which point my Barrister will commence proceedings against KPM.
