The Private Hire Board met today at GMB London region headquaters Hendon.
We were shown new badging which will be put on vehicles ensuring our drivers freedom to pick up and set down on red routes in London. This badging is now in production and will be available by the end of the month. The regulations permitting this were instigated as of 26 10 07 . So once again the entire industry operating together is successfull! It must be borne in mind that the Mayor Ken Livingstone paid a leading roll in the industry obtaining this facility..
Our next objective is of course the bus lanes Ken Livingstone has stated his support for this.
No doubt our comrades in the Hack industry will share our delight at this development.
