i am a dispatchers in derry northern ireland the story is that 95% of taxis offices in my town pay £3.50 a hour The North West Taxi Proprietors say they have to put fares up and get taxi meters DRIVERS IF THE FARE IS £5.50 AND THE PASSENGER HANDS YOU £3.50 HOW WOULD YOU FEEL THESE PROPRIETORS ARE CHEATS,SWINDLERS COME ON GIVE US THE RIGHT WAGE. AND DRIVERS YOUR AS AS BAD FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN. ALLTHE BEST FROM FAIR INCOME

your right its not on, and speaking of proprietors we dont have to look too far on here .......Captain Cab and MrT Wayne and Trevor. i wonder if you have a branch of the GMB PDB over there ? im sure either of the Michaels from thhe GMB north or Brighton would be intrested in helping you ? then theres Terry with Irish background and allegiances, maybe he will do the right thing and get in touch with you ?

Strange old world, but I was under the impression that the GMB already had extremely strong representation and membership n Ireland...
