| Nick why would someone in the GMB want to still and with any luck can work with the NTA
thats like the NTA helping GMB members........ short memory look at what the NTA did with Gateshead GMB members....... stole them back by going behind mick pollards back i hear after the man did what his members wanted and put himself out on a limb and then got shafted...... nice one by the NTA...... LETS GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THAT ONE and you say maybe they can work together.... meeting of minds more like meetings of see how much more we can find in them members |

Mr Felix,
The members are the GMB PDB, if those elected by the members were instructed to speak to the NTA they would. The reason they would is transparant.

and why not just leave the GMB PDB and go join the NTA if their advice / experience was required, cut out the middle man and deal with them direct or vice versa, cant imagine the NTA coming to the GMB PDB can you ?
look at gateshead, they left after a month and went back to the ANT hill mob

| At the moment there are a number of meetings scheduled which are called the meeting of minds , these meetings are between most of the National associations and unions representing the hackney and private hire and also licensing officers , the GMB is represented through Manchester , the intention is to work together as one group .... |

im just a simple man of simple means called harold strangely enough hence my user name
how many members in london have you ?
im pretty new to this game and not too sure how many different things there is out there that i can or could join ?
someone in the office the other night reckons theres over 300,000 drivers in britain including both sides of the trade, can that be true ?
its a fantastic number if it is, ive never been in a union or member of any association in the past so dont know if its any good to me joining one ?
im only intrested in doing a honest days graft for honest wage. theres easier ways these days but dont fancy crossing the line in order to line my pockets
