i was thinking about becoming a taxi driver in my local area around romford, essex.if anybody else works around this area, i would just like to know what kind of hours i would need to work in order to earn decent money and what would you say are the good and bad points of working in this area. also, i heard a rumour from a friend that the "london knowledge" will either be scrapped or will be made significantly less demanding in order to qualify, does anybody know if this is true? cheers  |

Ok speedfreak191a, whilst 104 people may have read your post the majority of people that come on here never ever post.
Probibly we don't have any forum members that are the Romford area so they cannot advise!

| hop along hopper, u muppet! i cant believe that out of all the people on this forum nobody works around that area. the green badge covers havering,barking,dagenham,redbridge,and newham i think.so nobody works in these areas then? all i wanted was a little information, i would have appreciated anything anybody could tell me, but funny how nobody has anything to say until i try an insult,then i get an almost immediate reply. thanks again |

It's just that I don't like being insulted, I am one of the most helpful "pricks" on here and if I could have helped you I would have!!!
You insinuated that we all pricks and that is not so, whilst we do have a few like any forum most of the folks that post on here would help you out like a shot if they could. |

Just to add to the above........I don't know of any green badge drivers or any yellow ones for that matter that post on this forum, allthough I am sure many visit.
Try a different forum, I will even point you in the right direction if you PM me......cause I'm that sort of bloke.......helpful!

I think your friend is pulling your plonker, I have not heard anything about the knowledge being scraped or made more easy and think it would be highly unlikely.
