What is TaxiRider?
TaxiRider
is a new way of travelling that combines the convenience and flexibility of a taxi with the economy and reliability of a bus. It operates in the Knutsford area, and provides journeys from the villages of Mobberley, Great Warford, Marthall, Ollerton, Peover Heath, Over Peover, Swan Green, Lower Peover, Plumley and the rural areas around them, all for the price of a bus fare.
TaxiRider
is booked in advance, to travel at a time that suits you - just like a taxi. Because TaxiRider is a shared taxi service, other passengers may also be travelling on the vehicle at the same time. This sharing keeps the fare charges down and means you won’t pay much more than a bus fare. It also means you may need to be a little flexible about your journey times.
Where can I go?
The area served by TaxiRider is split into zones. You can travel between villages in the
TaxiRider area (see map on back page), and also from Zones A or B to the towns of Knutsford, Northwich, Wilmslow and Altrincham. Journeys can be made for almost any purpose - shopping, meeting friends or to make connections to bus and rail services! And TaxiRider is available to pick you up and take you back home again.
When can I go?

is available between 7.00am and 7.00pm seven days a week!

Anyone!
The TaxiRider vehicle is fully accessible with a power operated wheelchair lift, so all members of the community can travel with ease and in comfort.
