Hi All I'm Very new to this forum and pretty new to taxi driving, been driving for 8 months using a settle car now I think its time to get my own vehicle & plate. as my local council has jumped on the wheelchair accessible band wagon my vehicle has to be purpose built taxi or m1 type approved. I'm seriously considering a tx1 or maybe tx2 around the lower price brackets of course but wondered what  sort of areas need to be inspected closely ive heard of some of the older ones having welding and sills replaced, Is this very common? is it a big job?

any advice gratefully accepted

many thanks
