I've been getting quite of the same questions from individual driver/operators.
I thought I'd add these questions - and more importantly the answers,
so you all can benefit from the answers.
Q1 How does your system work?? A1 The non technical answer is this. Our box amplifies the strongest 3G mobile signal in any given area, regardless of who the service provider is O2/Vodaphone/Meteor. If a stronger signal is available from a different provider as you transit on your route, our box seamlessly switches to the new carrier, without any distruption to the users (this is patented technology).
Q2 How many users can be online at any one time?? A2 More than you can fit in a normal taxi, we've had 10 people all downloading a youtube video at the same time without any problems.
Q3 Are their any other costs? A3 Yes, you will need a mobile data sim card, costs about 15 quid per month for 5gb per month
Q4 Can this product make me money rather than cost me money? A1 (a) Firstly, put yourself in the place of a taxi user, especially a business customer or student that wants to check their tweets or facebook. If you had a choice between a taxi with free wifi or one without which would you choose. You can also sell advertising space on your landing page, collect customers data, like email addresses for marketing purposes. you can also make your service a paid service if you choose.
If anybody has any more question - just ask |
