Been reading that Strech Limos of 3.5 tons now require Tachos, and that their drivers will be limited to 56hrs a week. That should set the cat amongst the pigeons!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone been nicked yet?????????????????

3.5 tons eh? Which ones does that include?
Also how are the 56 hours to be calculated?
Lots of questions raised but I agree there could be lots of birds with ruffled feathers!

is the 56 hours to be regulated the same as hgv ? which can do 90 hours over a 2 week period but thats a maximum of 56 hours in one week but the following week is a maximum of 34 hours.



the 56 for hgv is made up of 4 x 9 hour days followed up by 2 x 10 hour days this doesnt include breaks and is purely driving time and not including working time such as unloading / waiting etc



for those wondering i am a qualified national international transport manager and hold my CCPC NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL operators license and have done so since 1995
