Has any one had any Problems with Taxi Bank, ref; payment for Fares done for them??
At frist they Paid up, But now I cant get hold of their Accounts Dept for love or money, and my Payments are now 5 weeks over due.
When you do get hold of them you just get fobbed off.

Just to let you know I have had this problem with this company. They always make excuses why they haven't paid. I have now told them to take me off their register for bookings, as I am not a charity.

They have now moved office, new telephone number for their accounts department is 01752 269 215.............Good luck!!!!!

Hi

So its not just thats awaiting payment for jobs invoiced in April!
This situation smacks of a company thats about to go to the wall and withholds payment to all their suppliers. If it transpires that it is the case in a few months, the directors would have committed a criminal offence by trading when they new they were going down. its the oldest trick in the book and I for one will certainly be doing no more work for them.

Try Autocab they seem to be in bed with Taxibank.

I have invoices dating back to March 2010 and still no payment.
If theres no payment by the end of this month I shall be making contact with a national media journalist to finish them off at the same time as informing their biggest customers ie the AA , RAC, NHS etc etc. that they are in breach of contract to many of their smaller suppliers and when the national press start it wont look good on the big organizations
With all these kind of problems, the media is always the first port of call, not the legal system. Bad press does these people much more damage.

Also having trouble with Taxibank.
They are using every excuse in the book,to avoid payment.
Has anybody had the "wrong bank account details" one yet?
Im waiting on some invoices from 3-4 months ago,and its looking very likely, that i will be visiting Taxibank offices in Plymouth, this week.
Its extremely hard to get hold of anybody in accounts, and when you do,its pass the buck time.
Beware!

After trying every which way to get paid by Taxibank and being fobbed off with all the same excuses as you guys, I think they do the following.
When a new small supplier signs up they give them plenty off work and continue to do so until the supplier wants paying, then the phone calls to do work for them stop and you dont get paid for the work done. Then they simply move on to the next supplier and do it again etc etc etc .
I suggest that we all call their main operator number every few minutes whilst ranking up and get your drivers to do the same by withholding your number. Their switchboard will be constantly engaged with our calls .
Anyway, today I will be contacting the journalist I mentioned in a previous post and we will be paying Taxibank a visit complete with cameras!!!
I would like to see the reaction of the AA, RAC, NHS, Britsh airports ETC ETC when they are associated with these rip off merchants. It will hopefully be goodbye Taxibank and also goodbye any other company that their directors , friends or relatives set up in its place because I will be watching their movements very closely.
So remember, they owe you money so you can call them as many times as you like to demand it. Thats not illegal. Just remember to call their operator number and NOT the accounts dept.
A call to there biggest customers accounts depts may cause them some grief also.

Hi, Just spoken to accounts, very pleasant lady says that Management are now dealing with invoices, I have 2 outstanding from Sept 2009 and Mar 2010, you may need to think twice about doing business with this company for now.

Hi, I have just signed up with this site and was not surprised when i read that we are not the only company in the position of waiting for payments from Taxi Bank. We have in the past had problems in receiving payment from Taxi Bank and went to only accepting jobs when they would pay on card first, (hasten to add on a couple of occassions they couldn't as card(s) were maxed out).
Once all payments had been received we re-opened their account and now have invoices dating back to April 10 outstanding. After being told nearly 7 weeks ago by the MD payment would be made within the next 3 weeks as the accounts department is being reshuffled.
After all the false promises of payment will be made or we will ring you back to let you know when payment will be made I still have no payment.
Today I called the accounts department and low and behold the person that deals with payments is not in the office, then I asked to speak to the MD and she happened to step out the office within minutes of me calling.
The numbers that I manage to contact Taxi Bank on are (01752) 236654 and (01752) 603459.

Have been actively chasing my April invoice for 3 months to no avail. They've always been slow payers but things seem to have moved to a new (worse!) level. I will not work for them again nor will I introduce colleagues.

Hi, just found this site, as a plymouth cabbie, I couldn't help notice the taxibank thread.

If you do not know already, Taxibank, is or at least was n the same building of Taxifast, as they were statred up by same company. their no. is 01752 222222.

Word is they are struggling financially, so I wouldn't be surprised if one was helping the other ( obviously this is my own personal opinion and I'm sure highly Illegal)

Hi to all as a newbie to this forum. Only found it doing a search for Taxibank.

We have also had problems being paid and whilst it was a relatively small amount of £400.00 it was still owed to us. We eventually took them to court and won and they were ordered to pay the full amount. They paid £265.00 and then applied to the court for the order to be rescinded claiming they had paid in full.

This then meant an afternoon off work to attend court only for the Judge to tell them that they still had to pay the balance which Simon Hirst, the MD?, promised the Judge he would do within 10 days.. Guess what, I am still waiting a month later. I have just managed to get through to their Accounts Department and told them they have 2 hours to respond with credit card details or we will apply to the courts for the bailiffs to execute a warrant.
