Lads, the lettering on the submit key and cancel keys are nigh on invisible being white on silver - can you modify them?
And despite using the remember me key when logging in, your server has forgotten me each time!
Thanks! |

Parkway,
Thanks for the feedback, can I ask what browser you are using because the submit buttons are bright orange with white lettering as shown below, so contrast should not be an issue. That might also help me investigate the "remember me" option. I have included a small screen shot below to show you what I see for the submit and cancel buttons.

Kind regards
Pete

The remember me option has been restored. This is a security feature in .Net 2 that defaults persistent cookies to 30 minutes (which means, it probably was remembering you for half an hour ) Chocolate teapot time I'm afraid.
Let me know if that resolves half of your problem.
Regards

Using Firefox, the quick reply header is orange with white lettering but the buttons are silver with white lettering. |

Nick,
Yes, unfortunately shear weight of traffic... This site resides on a dedicated web server that was originally configured purely for TaxiNumber.com, which under normal conditions would make childs play of the traffic of a normal site. Unfortunately (only from a performance view point) taxinumber.com has seen a massive 100% increase in traffic over the last 3 weeks, add to that the additional 1-2k page views per day this site has added and you have mildly serious problems.
Please do bare with us, there are 2 new servers on order and once configured should resolve the issue more than adequately. For indicative purposes this can take up to a couple of weeks, but the problems are relatively sporadic, so please do bare with us.
Kind regards
Pete |
