Pete, if GMB can't read the message in my last post on here, what hope for more obvious means of communication?

Thermy, must agree 100% with you though.

GMB, do a Google on TVR AJP V8.

What question? You were told you were more than welcome to talk to my drivers. They are free individuals. If they tell you to f--k off then don't be surprised.

Why do I need to run a CAC ballot? I have no drivers that in in any union let alone yours.

Christ almighty you spout absolute rubbish. You are nothing but a keyboard warrior - all piss and wind.

how quick we all pick up on GMB's tactics, if only he'd try the softly softly approach

rather than agitating why not try reasonable reasoning, we wont all agree on everything but terry doesnt agree with himself, can you imagine terry having a shave and looking in the mirror arguing with himself and.......LOSING

Parkway obviously you know nothing of industrial law. Acas would arrange the ballot, you would have no alternative but to co-operate we would be allowed access to your premises for a considerable time to recruit members. At the moment i have no intention of coming anywhere near your companythe comment was ment as a joke.Believe you me im busy and will not visit your company unless drivers request it.We forced Tri-Star the biggest chaueffeur company in western europe inta a cac ballot and won it hands down, you will not be surprised that Tri-Star are pleased we did win it their driver retention and industrial relations have improved considerably, altogether a happier more profitable company!!
DECISIONS ARE TAKEN BY THOSE THAT TURN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terry what can you offer that the likes of TGWU, NTA, NTTG, NPHA   etc cant ?

what are you doing different ?

why should i join yours and not one of the others ?

you say alot but you've not said anything that convinces me that your lot stand out from the others in terms of offering the chance of taking the trade forward,

was you at this meeting of minds that as been refered to ?

what was your input and was it welcomed ?

do you think all councils that arent de-reg'd will be in the future ? if so how long

do you think any councils that are de-reg'd will regulate again in the future ? if so, why ?

don't agitate terry, talk in a sensible manner and maybe you may get respect, but at the moment all your getting is mocked because of your agitating behaviour, its obvious you weren't popular as a child and probably got picked upon at school, thats why you feel now that verbal attacks are your best form of defense,

No he wasnt, because he has no knowledge of the Hackney carriage trade / the meeting needed a person with a mind (its in the title)

Spot on Thermy!

I am ignoring the twat, life's not getting worked up about. All this bollocks about CAC ballots, you'd think Parkway Taxis were a major multinational company - 4 cars for F--ks sake!

I used to work at a major cash carrying company that had the GMB representing the majority of their workforce. At the last pay negotiations the blue collar staff basically felt that they had been sold down the river, because despite voting against the pay deal the GMB cajolled and nagged the membership to vote again and pushed it through. Senior management couldn't believe their luck, there was more money in the pot but weren't pushed for it. The feeling that the GMB had sold them out was immense amongst the membership.  Faced with organised (and legal) opposition the GMB quickly becomes a toothless lion and rolls over for it's tummy to be rubbed. Since I've left, they had been tonked on various issues including working ast 65, London weighting, differing duties that used to attract varrying rates of pay, now have a 'one size fits all pay grade'. No doubt he will reply to this post with more crap, but that's okay. I'll read but not respond to his posts any more. Hopefully he'll find someone else to wind up on another forum.

As you were, nothing to see here, move along please.

B atus you seem to be the most sensible. and with the questions that need answering,

What do we offer that others dont? in a word democracy this branch will NEVER sign an agreement without the members voting to accept it!

Will councils de reg re reg i dont know, what i do know is that our members in that area will have THEIR views presented forcefully, and there will always be one or more of their number at EVERY meeting with the council, these members will have been elected, not appointed. If you believe your already getting that  and your being succesfull do nothing, but who IS!!

Parkway sensitive arnt we listen what you explain with GMB in the past, the final analysis is THEY voted for it, you didnt like it. nor do I now, but how do you stop morons allowing themselves to be maneouverd? Youve only got 4 drivers CAC shouldnt take long then should it, CAC is no threat to you just a promise of assistance to make your company more profitable. You might not see it that way but then neither did TRI-STAR and look at them now! Happy as Larry more drivers, more profits, hugely better driver retention, ie their earning more! They beneifited why not you? Someone who gets as upset as you do normally has something to hide, I wonder? What is a fact is if we shut a company down we put our members out of work, so whats your BEEF?????

rumour as it that the one and only anarchist going under the name of Captain Cab

is responsible for all the outrageous and anarchic behaviour on this site.

infact another forum as banned him and as gone so far as to ban him for his beliefs

which go against their own morally wrong high opinions of themselves. of which they have

no foundations to back up their own beliefs. anarchy to them is the knowledge of ones

trade and having their convictions to stand by what they say / believe.

in that case are not all on here anarchists less Nick and Thermidor

Perhaps the infamous JD, who nobody knows and maybe either a licensing officer with a grudge, a failed council solicitor or heaven forbid a complete crank. Couldnt take people taking the p*ss out of him? Personally, I think he wears a bag, and its emptied on a 3 hourly basis.
