Dear All,

I am a jobless man in Vietnam. I joined the forum and need your advice about my intension of becoming a self employed taxidriver. Pls help advise what I have to prepare. Thanks!

Well, the first thing you need to do is get a full frontal lobotomy but why bother.

Just move over here with your wife and 16 children and the benefit agency will give you so much money you wont have to work

You need to do 3 things to pass your hackney carriage license.

1. Pass the knowledge test in your chosen working area - you can get this from your local council
2. Pass a CRB check (criminal records check) - see www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk
3. Pass a medical - see you local GP.

Then once you have these you can go to your local council and get a license.

*Note you need to have a full and valid driving license.

Then you can pick who you would like to work for. I done this and started my own business. www.folkestone-airport-taxis.com

I just focus in airport taxi runs keeping it nice a specialized.
