POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was threatened and his cab stolen in Ince woods, Ince Blundell.
Two men threatened the man and took the cab around 8pm on Sunday December 30.
The taxi was a white Skoda that had the telephone number of the cab company on its side. It was later found abandoned near to the Red
Lion Bridge in Maghull.
Police made extensive searches in the surrounding areas but the men were not found.
The first man is described as mixed race, in his early 20s wearing a hooped red and white top.
The second man was described as white, aged early 20s wearing dark clothing.
Police are appealing for anyone with further information about this incident or any witnesses to contact them on 0151 777 3145 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
